Hello and Welcome!

In 2012, I decided to jump into the wild world of blogging. Thinking back to 2004 when I started my crazy adventure as an educator, I remember how thankful I was any time anyone gave me a new idea. So- here are some of my ideas, a collection of things that have worked over the years. I hope you find it helpful!

This is still a major work in progress and the page has been neglected since I had my daughter in 2015 but… check back for updates as I jump back into this with more updated information on Upper Grade Teaching and the Science of Reading, Implementing A.I. into your classroom and whatever else Twitter/X inspires me to blab about.

Know that teaching is a profession in which you constantly morph and grow and adjust, if the blog post or resource is 10 years old, read under that lens. It may need adjustments to what kids need today.

Teacher Resources

Most of my resources are on Teachers Pay Teachers for cheap, if not free.  For Gold Rush activities, head here! When I started my career, everything in my classroom was purchased by 23 year old me out of pocket. I strive to price my materials fairly keeping that in mind and post things for free whenever I can!

All of my resources are things I created and use in my own classroom.
